OMG! I had soooooo much fun doing this session! Nikki & Ben were so fun and I could really feel the love between the two of them. They are best friends that fell in love and it shows throughout every one of their photos.
I have seen so many great engagement photos via Pinterest and got some amazing ideas from fellow photographers. I just HAD to make the a-frame tent you see in some of these images…. I am so glad I did!
If you are a follower of mine on Facebook, then you may have seen that I have been talking about a lot of improvement for each session. One of the things I am doing now is creating a personalized slideshow of your images set to music. You get to view your slideshow at your session premiere in your home while you eat a yummy dessert from The Frosted Muffin. Nikki & Ben’s slideshow has to be one of my favorites to date! I was up all hours of the night working on it, but I think it was worth it – especially watching Nikki & Ben’s reactions as they smiled, laughed, and nearly cried while they saw all of their images for the first time set to “their” song.
Nikki & Ben, I am so sad that I won’t be able to take photos of your big day, but I cannot thank you enough for the pleasure of being a part of the anticipation of the day you become One Flesh. This is your start. I hope that anytime you have a difficult day or an argument that you will look at these beautiful images and see how in love you two are. Remember, love is a choice. Make that choice each day and your marriage will only get stronger with time.
