It's best to book your newborn portrait session as soon as possible to ensure availability. Ideally, we recommend booking your session in your second trimester of pregnancy to guarantee a spot on our calendar. However, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and we do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us regardless of how far along you are in your pregnancy or if your baby has already arrived. We will do our best to fit you in and create beautiful memories of your little one.

Newborn portraits are usually done within the first 14 days of life when babies are still very sleepy and able to curl up into those cute poses. This allows us to capture those beautiful, squishy newborn details that you will cherish for a lifetime. After the first two weeks, babies tend to become more alert and less likely to stay in those posed positions, which can make it more difficult to capture those precious images.

Great question! You do not need to buy any newborn props or outfits for your baby's newborn session. I provide a variety of props, wraps, and accessories to use during the session. However, if there are any specific items or outfits that you would like to incorporate into the session, please let me know in advance so that we can discuss incorporating them.

Absolutely! Including family members in your newborn portraits can make for even more precious and memorable photos. Please let me know beforehand so I can plan accordingly and make sure everyone is comfortable and prepared for the session.

Hair & makeup is an optional add-on for maternity & newborn portrait sessions on weekdays only. We include this add-on for a discounted rate of $100 ($150 value).

We understand that there are a lot of expenses that come with having a new baby, so we offer interest-free in-house payment plans for up to 6 months, or payments with AfterPay.

At booking, we require a session fee to reserve the date which covers the 2-4 hour session in our studio, the use of props and the artistic editing of images. At the ordering appointment 2-4 weeks after the session, you get to see your portraits for the first time, choose your favorite ones and purchase a package based on that. As a luxury photography studio, our packages include high-end, museum-grade products, like albums, canvases, and acrylic canvases, as well as digital images. Much of our retouching is when we use Photoshop to create composite images that we can’t create naturally. For example, we digitally copy baby from a simple beanbag pose to a beautiful nest. Also, a newborn’s head should never be unsupported, so Christina, or a parent will be instructed on how to, gently hold up the baby’s head and the hands are removed later using Photoshop.
