My calendar often fills several months in advance, especially during spring and fall. Reserving your session now gives you the best choice of dates and allows plenty of time for planning.

Here's what your experience includes:

  • A planning consultation to design your session.
  • Access to a curated wardrobe of beautiful maternity gowns.
  • Styling guidance for the whole family.
  • Professional posing from start to finish.
  • Partners and children are always welcome.
  • A personalized ordering appointment to choose your favorite artwork for your home.

Thinking about newborn portraits too?

Most families reserve both their maternity and newborn sessions at the same time. Your newborn session is simply penciled in using your due date, then finalized after your baby arrives.

FAQ

What if I'm already past my ideal window?

Not every mom books months in advance, and that's completely okay. If you're past the recommended window, reach out anyway. I'll always do my best to accommodate you if I have availability. Your comfort and your baby's safety will always guide our session.

What should I wear?

You'll have several options, and we'll plan everything together before your session.

Many moms choose one or more gowns from my carefully curated client wardrobe, while others prefer to wear their own clothing based on my styling recommendations. If you're envisioning a more intimate, artistic look, tasteful draped fabrics or minimalist portraits are also beautiful options.

We'll discuss your vision during your planning consultation, and I'll help coordinate outfits for your partner and children as well, so everything comes together beautifully.

Can my partner and children be included?

Absolutely! Maternity portraits celebrate your growing family, not just your pregnancy. Partners, siblings, and even grandparents are always welcome if you'd like them included.

When should I reserve my newborn session?

The best time is before your baby arrives, ideally during your second trimester. We'll reserve your session based on your due date, then adjust it once your little one is here. This ensures I can photograph your baby during those precious first days of life.

What if my baby comes early or late?

No worries! Your newborn session isn't scheduled for a specific calendar date. I reserve space around your due date and adjust your appointment after your baby is born. Simply let me know when your little one arrives, and we'll finalize the session.

What if I don't know how to pose?

Perfect. Most of my clients say the same thing. I'll guide you through every pose and expression so you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful throughout your session.
